Analysis: Sherman was hit by teammate Earl Thomas as the pair attempted to break up a pass early in the fourth quarter. Sherman had been down earlier in the second half after appearing to get his legs tangled on a block, but he ran off the field after being looked at by trainers.
Jan. 28 12:09 PM PT1:09 PM MT2:09 PM CT3:09 PM ET20:09 GMT4:09 AM 北京时间1:09 PM MST3:09 PM EST2:09 PM CT0:09 UAE (+1)15:09 ET18:09 - Not surprisingly, Sherman couldn't wait to start talking. Even before his allotted hour began at Super Bowl media day, Seattle's polarizing cornerback began answering questions from a podium set up in the middle of a hockey arena in downtown Newark. By the time the official clock began on the Seahawks' session Tuesday, Sherman was already on question No. 6.
Analysis: Sherman presented a much different side than that angry 20-second rant after the NFC championship game, which sparked a national debate over sportsmanship and racial attitudes. Sherman was charming, funny and didn't raise his voice at all. He said he was glad to have the chance to show there's more to him than what people saw after he made the play that clinched Seattle's victory over San Francisco.
Jan. 24 1:40 PM PT2:40 PM MT3:40 PM CT4:40 PM ET21:40 GMT5:40 AM 北京时间2:40 PM MST4:40 PM EST3:40 PM CT1:40 UAE (+1)16:40 ET19:40 - Sherman was fined $7,875 for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting in the final minute of the NFC championship game against San Francisco. Sherman's fine was confirmed by the league Friday.
Analysis: Sherman was flagged after he made a choking gesture toward the San Francisco bench that he said was directed at quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Sherman had just deflected a pass intended for Michael Crabtree in the end zone that was intercepted by linebacker Malcolm Smith and clinched Seattle's 23-17 victory. It does not appear that the fine was for his spontaneous interview afterward with frightened TV reporter Erin Andrews.
Jan. 21 12:30 PM PT1:30 PM MT2:30 PM CT3:30 PM ET20:30 GMT4:30 AM 北京时间1:30 PM MST3:30 PM EST2:30 PM CT0:30 UAE (+1)15:30 ET18:30 - Sherman said in a column for SI.com that he's not a villainous person.
Analysis: Sherman has been a regular writer for mmqb.si.com for most of the season. He wrote on Monday that his postgame interview Sunday with Fox reporter Erin Andrews stemmed from adrenaline and his dislike for San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree. Sherman screamed during the interview that Crabtree is a subpar receiver.
Jan. 20 9:58 AM PT10:58 AM MT11:58 AM CT12:58 PM ET17:58 GMT1:58 AM 北京时间10:58 AM MST12:58 PM EST11:58 AM CT21:58 UAE12:58 ET15:58 - Sherman might be the most-hated in the NFL after he blasted 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree after Sunday's conference title win.
Analysis: "I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you gonna get. Don't you ever talk about me!" Sherman told Fox after deflecting a pass in the end zone intended for Crabtree in the fourth quarter that was intercepted. Sherman ran over to Crabtree and gave him a pat on the backside, then appeared to extend his arm for a handshake. Instead, Sherman got shoved in the face before picking up his personal foul as his celebration continued.
